Clarifying Misconceptions
As part of community outreach, Gleneagles Hospital organized a Public Forum on Clarifying Misconceptions in medical conditions such as stroke, cancer, aging and joint pains. The forum was held on 5 July 08 at the Park Hotel, Singapore and was well attended by more than a hundred participants.

Dr Ho Siew Hong was invited to deliver a lecture on:
Raising Hope for the Fading Manhood
Aging in man is a gradual process. He experiences changes in his energy level, body structure, fat distribution and mental prowess. Risks of developing illness such as hypertension, diabetes and prostate problems increase with age. Sexual function declines but at a variable rate between individuals. Treatment for erectile dysfunction is available and effective. However, several cases of unsupervised therapy recently, had lead to undesirable complications and death. Testosterone or male hormone replacement therapy is another attractive and promising solution to the problem of the waning manhood.
